This is a blog about sport.
It is a blog for people who enjoy spending an afternoon discussing issues such as whether a salary cap works, the finer points of code switching, and whether Cricket Australia's recent selection policy is actual evidence of drugs in sport.
And it is a blog for those same people who enjoy spending an evening in a packed stadium, surrounded by like minded souls, with a beer, screaming a single phrase until they lose their voice.
You won't find match reports here. Nor will you find sensationalist hyperbole glorifying the current deeds of the "next Bradman" or "next (insert name of former Origin hero here)". We promise to write about the issues that matter. We promise rational analysis of all matters sport, albeit from a sometimes irrational foundation of passionate fandom. We promise that at stages it will probably get a bit silly.
Because ultimately, we understand that it really does matter. We hope that you will come to understand the same.
